John Hickson
In 2022, John Hickson, a Maine native, became the golf pro at Northport Golf Club, and has earned the admiration and trust of its membership. His championing of junior golf, and his initiatives to promote golf as a life-long sport reflect his belief in golf as a worthy lifestyle which builds self-confidence and health. John was selected by Golf Digest in 2024 as the top golf instructor for the State of Maine. John actively participates in PGA sanctioned tournaments around the country and is a frequent winner, including being a multiple year winner of the State of Maine Championship.
Mario Linardo
Mario Linardo joins us this year as our GCSAA certified golf course superintendent. Mario is a native of New England and has gained experience as a superintendent at several golf courses in the Northeast. In addition, he was a project manager for a golf course construction and renovation company. He is a graduate of the Indian River Florida State College Golf Course Operations program. Mario says he is driven by his
love of the game of golf and dedication to the club’s membership and goals.
