The 2023 golf season at Northport golf course is off to a great start. The course is in great condition and ready to kick off the Junior golf season. Northport will once again be hosting a free junior instructional program hosted by our PGA Professional John Hickson. John is a great instructor, as many members will tell you. He has hosted many large junior groups in his career. This is a great opportunity to improve your golf game.
The program will start on Saturday June 17th at 10:00 AM and continue each Saturday ending with a junior tournament on July 22nd for those who wish to participate. The program will last for an hour or slightly more each Saturday and participants will need to supply their own equipment.
There will be a registration desk at the course on June 10th from 10 AM until Noon for sign up. We are asking for all the Northport members to communicate this to family members that may want to participate even though they are not currently members of the club. The membership at Northport feels very strongly that we need to promote the growth of the game through junior golf. Participation is limited to members and their extended family members.
