Most of you likely received your own copy, but I wanted to point out one important item from the Maine State Golf Association December’s Leader in the House Newsletter.
The lead story is about Eli Spaulding who is an amazing young golfer. What you may not know is that Eli is the grandson of NGC member Bruce Spaulding. The list of Eli’s recent accomplishments as shown in the article is truly amazing. However, one highlight that is not listed is that Eli and granddad Bruce posted the low gross score at this year’s Lathrop Member-Guest Tournament at NGC. (Paula Herron also pointed out that Eli’s father, Andy, worked at the golf course in the 1990s.)
I think we’re going to hear a lot more about Eli in the coming years.
