Our Board President, Sue Gordon, recently penned a Newsletter, describing many of the happenings at NGC. Here is what Sue had to say:
Project Update:

The maintenance shed project is progressing nicely. Concrete work is scheduled for this week, and steel should arrive next month. The storage bunker area has been paved and the concrete blocks to finish it off will be put into position in the next few weeks.
Thank you for your generous contributions that are making this building project possible!
Snack Bar:

Sandwiches have returned to the menu, and a new Friday Grill will begin this week serving hamburgers and hot dogs from 11:30 – 1:30 on Fridays. Enjoy a bite to eat on the porch, with your beverage of choice, and the spectacular view of our beautiful course.
Silent Auction:

Bidding is open on the wide variety of quality auction items displayed in the banquet room. Bidders will find unique gift ideas for themselves, family or friends. Winners will be announced after the tournament on July 10th.
All proceeds benefit the Maintenance Building Fund.
Caddy for the Shack July 10th at 1 pm :
After making it through last golf season with all of its Covid restrictions, the Women’s Committee came up with an entertaining tournament open to all levels and ages of golfers – male, female, members and non-members, individual play, no team required. Sign up with a friend, your child, or your grandchild. All holes will be par 3s, with challenges such hitting your drive while seated or blindfolded; putting with a left-handed putter or a different type of ball. The plan is to have an enjoyable, amusing, and fun 9 holes of golf. The day’s activities also include a putting contest, a lively chipping contest, and a barbeque. All proceeds benefit the Maintenance Building Fund.
